“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” – Kahlil Gibran
One thing that our little monkey loves is to be outdoors. A family day out, a trip to the park or even just a quick trip to the shops, any chance to be outside Freya will be there! She often brings us her shoes or wellie boots wanting to venture outside and actually yesterday she managed to put her wellies on herself for the first time. So cute!
Now we are having some nicer weather, although I’m writing that and then looking out the window at the pouring rain, but we have had a fair amount of sunny days, it’s lovely to be able to get out and enjoy the garden.
Truthfully neither myself or Luke are keen gardeners and don’t really have a clue what we’re doing when it comes to planting or the like however we are planning to start improving the back garden and making it a nicer space to relax, play and enjoy those gorgeous sunny days.
This weeks pictures are from Saturday, Little monkey and I enjoyed some fresh air and sunshine out in the garden. She always gets excited to play in the garden and we put up her new Princess pop up tent which she was very impressed with, it was a birthday present from her lovely godmother and Freya loves it! In fact it’s still up in the living room!
She had lots of fun building towers and after these photos were taken she also enjoyed pulling up the grass and getting very dirty finger nails! I love that Freya enjoys the great outdoors, it’s something that we can enjoy as a family and it’s wonderful to watch her explore and have so much fun, even when it’s just in our back garden.
I’m really enjoying linking up with Donna from What the Redhead said for Living arrows, you can see who else has linked up here …
