“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” – Kahlil Gibran.
Little monkey loves a trip to the park! We are so very lucky to have a lovely playground just a short walk from our home. On days where we haven’t much planned we often pop around to get a bit of fresh air and stretch our legs! We decided to do just that last Friday.
It’s even easier now little monkey prefers to walk so there’s not much need to take the pram. After lunch we ventured out and made our way to the swings, which is still little ones favourite piece of park equipment! It was cloudy but warm and quite a pleasant walk. Freya was skipping along excitedly “the playground, the playground” she was saying.
Of course the swings were her first choice and at this particular visit she favoured the see saw too! Our little lady is becoming so confident and growing up so fast! Looking back at the photos I just can’t believe how grown up she looks! Of course some times our challenging but she amazes me everyday, her character is charming, she’s such a loving and funny young lady and brings us so much joy.
We had lots of fun at the park and on the walk home Freya was very excited to spot her Dada, he came to meet us on his way home from work. She gifted him a daisy that she’d just picked on the walk back.
It’s wonderful to be able to capture and document those moments and I really am enjoying linking up with Donna from What the Redhead said for Living Arrows.
