” You are the bows in which your children as living arrows are sent forth” – Kalil Gibran.
We are back linking with lovely Donna from What the Redhead said for Living arrows, a wonderful linkie created to celebrate childhood. I love to join in and share our captures of Freya’s childhood and also reading posts and discovering other bloggers who have taken part. From now i’m going to endeavour to join In every week and make Living Arrows a regular part of my blogging routine.
I have a few photos to share for this weeks post. If you’ve visited my blog more recently you may already know that little monkey is a huge devoted fan to Trolls, the latest film. I spotted a Princess Poppy dress complete with wig during a food shop trip to Tesco and thought it would be the perfect costume for Freya especially as the local kids Halloween party held at our local leisure centre annually was coming up! Of course not very scary but I figured she would be more likely to keep said costume on! Admittedly she wasn’t a fan of the wig – but as thought the dress was a hit! So much so that it’s all she wanted to wear for a fair few days after, everywhere!
On the actual Halloween night we made a last minute decision to take Freya for her first trick or treat outting. I grabbed a bargain witches costume again from Tesco (this post is not sponsored!) which was reduced to £5 and took her to my parents and after to Luke’s mum and dads for a surprise Halloween visit.
The next photo is not Halloween related, it’s actually from the weekend just gone. On Sunday the three of us had a lovely afternoon with my parents and brother and we also took a trip to see my Auntie, Uncle and cousins. Freya decided to walk up pushing her doll in her little pram and it was just adorable!
I say this a lot but it’s true – I can’t quite believe how quickly our little monkey is growing up! She makes us so so very proud.
