We welcomed spring 2018 with bitterly cold winds, icy grounds and a rather significant amount of snowfall as the beast from the east and storm Emma hit the Cotswolds. In fact there was so much snow that we ended up with a large snow drift outside our front door that was just as exciting for us big kids to jump in as it was for the little one!

Wow! Monday sure does come around quickly! How are we almost in the middle of November already! However Christmas shopping has started and preparations has begun for the most wonderful time of the year and we are so so very excited.

We are back linking with lovely Donna from What the Redhead said for Living arrows, a wonderful linkie created to celebrate childhood. I love to join in and share our captures of Freya’s childhood and also reading posts and discovering other bloggers who have taken part. From now i’m going to endeavour to join In every week and make Living Arrows a regular part of my blogging routine.
Thursday 19th October – Day 6 of our autumnal trip to one of our most favourite places, beautiful Cornwall. Todays forecast… a complete washout, but I think we have been rather lucky in that it’s the only really rather wet day and the majority of the week has been quite warm and pleasant meaning we have been able to enjoy getting out and about with the little ones.
Wednesday the 18th of October 2017 and Day 5 of our autumnal Cornish getaway. Apart from the heavy winds on Monday due to storm Ophelia the weather here, so far, has been a lot better and much warmer than we expected. Today is probably the chilliest it’s been so far this week but still it wasn’t unpleasant.
